Who needs this
Mid- to long-term residents (residence card holders) and special permanent residents who moved in or changed address. Required within 14 days.
Steps
- Bring your residence card when you register your address The address notification is made at the ward office, not at the immigration office.
- The staff writes the new address on the back of your card This happens at the same counter, during the same visit as resident registration. That's it.
- Moving again later? Repeat at your new ward office Every address change follows the same procedure, within 14 days of moving.
